Manitoba Health does not cover physiotherapy. Services are covered by private insurance extended health plans (ex. Blue Cross, Great West Life, etc.), Manitoba Public Insurance if you have been in a motor vehicle accident, and Worker's Compensation Board if it's a work-related injury.

Appointments with a physiotherapist are usually 45 minutes to 1 hour long, but it depends on the injury being treated.

Yes, we direct bill to most insurance companies. Although, we only direct bill to Blue Cross Insurance for Athletic Therapy. This way, you only have to pay for the portion of the treatment fee that your insurance plan does not cover.

Yes, we can only bill a second insurance for Greenshield, Blue Cross, and Sunlife.
