Michael Choinére

Physiotherapist

Michael is a Physical Therapist practicing in Kelowna who recently relocated from Ontario. A graduate of the University of Ottawa, Michael’s clinical approach is built on a foundation of thorough, comprehensive assessment. He prioritizes taking the time to understand the root causes of physical dysfunction, ensuring that every treatment plan is evidence-informed and grounded in your specific goals. His practice is highly individualized, focusing on restoring function, improving resilience, and supporting long-term recovery. Rather than just treating symptoms, he designs customized movement programs tailored to your body's needs. To optimize your recovery and effectively manage pain, Michael enhances his exercise programs with targeted hands-on modalities, including Manual Therapy & Soft Tissue Work and Dry Needling. Michael works with individuals looking to overcome injury, manage discomfort, or enhance their physical performance. He supports a broad range of conditions, with particular experience in Sports Injuries & Athletic Performance (formerly the primary therapist for a Junior A Hockey League team) and Post-Operative Rehabilitation. Michael is registered with the College of Health and Care Professionals of BC (CHCPBC) and is pleased to offer physiotherapy services to the Kelowna community in both English and French.

Courtney Collingwood

Counsellor

Courtney is a Registered Clinical Counsellor who works with individuals across a wide range of experiences, identities, and stages of life. Her goal is to create a grounded, authentic, and collaborative space where you can safely explore what’s been difficult, reconnect with what matters to you, and move toward meaningful change at your own pace. Her practice is integrative, tailored, and rooted in a strong foundation of evidence-based, trauma-informed care. Avoiding a 'one-size-fits-all' mentality, she shapes therapy around your unique context, strengths, and values. She views therapy as a process of building a healthier relationship with your thoughts, emotions, and body—allowing for greater flexibility, resilience, and choice. To support your awareness, emotional regulation, and self-compassion, Courtney draws from Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT). She supports a broad range of concerns, with particular experience in Anxiety & Stress and Life Transitions & Identity Exploration.
