Kelowna Smile Therapy for Kids provides individualized pediatric physiotherapy services to support movement and development in children. They offer a range of services including physical therapy, aquatic therapy, and intensive therapy blocks using approaches like DMI. Their team is dedicated to helping each child reach their full potential through play and movement.
Liza graduated as a physical therapist from the University of Alberta in 2003. After 5 years in adult orthopedics, she switched to pediatrics. She has certifications in DMI, theratogs, serial casting, FES, TMR tots, Reflex Integration, and Astronaut Therapy. She has been providing aquatic therapy since 2008. She is also a mother of 4, including a child with cerebral palsy.
Kiana earned her Bachelor of Human Kinetics at St. Francis Xavier University and her Master's in Physiotherapy at Glasgow Caledonian University. She has certifications in Functional Dry Needling (Level 1) and is completing her DMI certification. She focuses on neurological rehabilitation and uses play and movement in therapy.
