Stephanie

Physiotherapist

Stephanie graduated from the University of Alberta with a Master’s of Physiotherapy after receiving a Bachelor of Kinesiology degree from the University of Winnipeg. As a former professional basketball player, Stephanie has channeled her competitive nature and passion into learning about the human body and it’s amazing healing abilities. Stephanie has pursued further education in Vestibular Therapy, Shoulder Rehabilitation, External Pelvic Floor Assessment to assist in Low Back and Hip Pathology, and is certified in Dry Needling and Acupuncture. She also has completed Mulligan Concept techniques, Soft Tissue Release and the Orthopaedic Level 1. She's involved in our regular education sessions as well. Stephanie utilizes all the tools in her kit including individualized exercise and hands-on treatment as the key to her patient’s successful outcomes. Getting you back to your previous level of function or better is Stephanie’s number one goal the moment she meets you. You can expect a thorough assessment, so we can find and treat the root cause rather than just a temporary fix. Stephanie has had experience treating patients all across Alberta and is thrilled to bring her skill set back to her hometown. She has worked with a variety of patients including weekend warriors, seniors, athletes, post-operative patients, and people living with chronic conditions and pain. Outside of work you can find Stephanie exploring the outdoors with friends and family, playing and coaching basketball, and making her way through local cuisine - recommendations encouraged!
