Ranko is a Registered Physiotherapist (RPT) specialising in complex MSK cases, TMJ, and HeIT therapy. He graduated from UBC's Masters of Physical Therapy program in 2015, following a Kinesiology degree and years as a BCRPA Certified Personal Trainer. He holds postgraduate training in TMJ and orofacial pain, is a Certified CGIMS Practitioner (UBC), and completed Functional Dry Needling at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas.
Yes. VanCity Physio offers direct billing to most major extended health insurance providers. If you're an ICBC or WorkSafeBC claimant, we accept those patients as well — just ensure you have treatment approval from your adjuster before your first session.

We have two locations in Vancouver: our Downtown clinic at Unit 508 – 1160 Burrard St, and our Fairview clinic at Unit 201 – 1416 W 8th Avenue. Both are open Monday to Friday, 7am – 7pm, and Saturday, 8am – 4pm. We also offer virtual physiotherapy appointments for patients across BC.
No referral is needed to book physiotherapy in Vancouver at VanCity Physio. You can book directly online at either our Downtown or Fairview clinic. If your extended health plan requires a referral for reimbursement, check with your provider before your first appointment.
